New scheme attempts to encourage students onto property ladder

A new scheme from Capital Fortune which will encourage students to get onto the property ladder is being launched.

The firm has unveiled its new plan in which clients buy a property to share with fellow students during their time at university.

Rob Killeen, managing director of Capital Fortune, said: "Students are facing ever-increasing difficulty in securing affordable, good quality housing and rental costs in student towns are spiraling."

He added that the new products will allow students to buy their own property and provide "appropriate and comfortable accommodation to their fellow house sharers".

The buy-to-rent student mortgage will be rolled out nationally at student campuses and the company is claiming the scheme is innovative as it will give people the push needed to get onto the property ladder.

Capital Fortune is an independent mortgage advisory firm. It claims to have access to over 16,500 products nationwide for all types of buyers.
